Since 1988 MNP Corporate Finance Inc., a subsidiary of MNP LLP, has assisted Canadian companies with sale of business, mergers & acquisitions, financing and succession planning.
The Opportunity Under the direction of Advisory Services Leaders for the Edmonton region, you will provide client services including planning, scheduling, coordinating and managing defined project management processes on multiple engagements related to sale of business, mergers & acquisitions and financing transactions; attending meetings with business owners, private equity groups, bankers, investors and venture capitalists; and managing junior staff. Internal development and training will be provided. You will be expected to maintain the corporate image in the community and to promote the firm and its services to existing and potential clients.
The Candidate The successful candidate will possess a professional designation including MBA, CA, CBV or CFA designation and will possess at least five years’ progressive post-designation experience, preferably in a financial transaction management or corporate finance role. You have the ability to apply advanced business, accounting, management, and practice development principles to solve client problems; to explain advanced technical matters to clients; and to deliver group presentations. Your advanced interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to service a client base and conduct and participate in meetings with external groups and clients will be considered definite assets.
