Join the momentum. We are seeking an Associate, Valuations for our growing Valuations team. Protecting businesses’ best interests, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Through our trusted Valuations team, our Chartered Business Valuators and Accredited Appraisers work with our extensive network of industry specialists to deliver independent, concise valuations assessments in a wide range of areas. These include, business valuations, intangible assets, financial reporting requirements, property tax recovery, fairness opinions, litigation support, and appraisal services.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Performance Expectations
• Contribute to the implementation, administration and ongoing evaluation and completion of various Valuation client engagements
• Prepare and assist with valuations and expert reports
• Analyze critical financial data and create complex financial models
• Create detailed financial models to demonstrate illustrative value of client companies
• Analyze financial statements and all associated documentation
• Conduct industry and economic specific research
• Prepare client proposals
Credentials
• University degree coupled with the completion of a CPA designation, or equivalent
• Progression towards completion of Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) program
• Previous experience working within Valuations is an asset
• Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Some travel may be required
